Authoritative Book Series on Legal Topics

Reading legal ‘textbooks’ is probably not everyone’s cup of tea, I get it. The thing to remember though is that as we build businesses, non-profit organizations, and everything that goes along with them, there are a lot of legal topics we’ll need to explore along the way.

Some light reading, anyone?

Allow me to introduce to you: NOLO. NOLO has been educating the public on legal matters for 50 years now. They sell books, provide legal forms on their site, and help you find a lawyer if you need one.

I cannot give you legal advice as I am not a lawyer, but as these books are written by lawyers I feel that they are a trustworthy source of legal information to recommend to you.

I have been amassing quite a library of them in order to educate myself and be better prepared for growing my business(es) and organization(s) the right way. If you’re looking for a good place to start with legal topics, NOLO is that place!
